A new species of long-snouted porpoise, Eurhinodelphis minoensis is proposed from the Miocene Mizunami Group. Furthermore,a skull and two periotic bones are described. They belong to the Togari Fauna, which consists of marine members such as Desmostylus japonicus and Paleoparadoxia tabatai. The Togari Fauna is contrasted to the Hiramaki Fauna, terrestrial counterpart of the same time.
